The art of meditation is nearly as old as time and the benefits are forever life-changing. The desired outcome is to quiet the mind while focusing on breathing or an object. Some practices use scents, colors or sound. One may wish to engage in deep prayer, mantras or chants, re-connect with the higher self, explore the universe, manifest desires, reach altered states of state of consciousness, increase focus and creativity, alter behavior patterns, heal the physical body, or experience peace and content within daily life. There are many meditation methods to begin with and you may expect to evolve with time. The meditation methods matter not, being a personal preference. The ultimate outcome is for three to become one; being body, mind and spirit regardless of your religious or spiritual beliefs. Guided: Breathing Techniques: Walking: Full Moon Practice: Yoga: Trance Channeling: Binaural Beats Technology: Begin to reconnect with your spirit today! My interesting story explaining what meditation audio technology has done for me:
When I was four years old, I knew I had a mysterious power, so transparent it was barely there. Early in 2007, I began an incredible journey. I began to think. I mean, really think. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and a deep desire to explore life beyond, I found myself on a quest to use the remaining 85% of my brain. I began my research hoping to unlock doors to a new life, a perspective beyond the limits of physicality. Of course, the answers did come, as we do receive our deepest requests as desires manifest, eventually. The information appeared as if by magic in perfect time, as I was prepared to receive it. Know that beings develop spiritually as the personal vibration is perfect. I learned about spirituality, magic, and universal laws regarding energy manipulation through the art of meditation. In the beginning, quieting my thoughts was most unnatural thing in the world. It was difficult. We do not realize the wasted energy used in reminiscence or futuristic thoughts. The random scenes race past, uncontrolled. Truly, I had spent months trying to silence my mind. After experiencing meditation and making that connection, aligning up with the soul, thoughts, feelings and conversations that are not positive may feel uncomfortable, unnatural. This confirms your inner guidance working! At one point, I decided to experiment with a meditation audio to see if sound technology really worked. Almost instantly, I experienced a transformation in consciousness and my life has not been the same since. I feel much more in control of my mind, health and spirituality. Does this mean a meditation audio is necessary for every meditation? Absolutely not! Actually, I prefer to use the meditation audio recordings as I fall asleep a few nights per week to prepare my brain waves, and just relax . When I feel ready, and the night is just right, I prefer go into that blissful infinite on my own, using the technology of my brain, only. The audio recordings have apparently prepared my brain to reach altered states of consciousness. Due to meditation audio technology, I have been spared much practice, successfully raising my unique vibration, and have begun to experience profound journeys. Common Meditation Types: Concentration Meditation: Being one of the simpler meditation types, this practice focuses on breathing, visualization, praying, chanting, which occupies the mind thus reducing random thoughts. The benefits begin with relaxation, increased focus and creativity on to some of the more advanced meditation types. Mindfulness Meditation: This practice is one of the preferred meditation types being an awareness of the environmental surroundings including the sensations, sights, sounds, scents, feelings, without involvement, reaction or attachment within the present. This conditions one to live in the moment as opposed to attention to busy, scattering thoughts. A walking meditation would be perfect. Zen Meditation: Zen meditation is a 2,500 year old practice which has spread to many parts of the world. Reaching enlightenment through the process of deep meditation is experiential. The Zen monks of the past had spent up to 7 years in a cave to reach this ultimate spiritual state of consciousness. Within the Zen sitting position, with a distinct focus on the breathing, breath, body and mind unite as one. After much practice, experience and live as who you really are. Vipassana Meditation: This mindfulness meditation is an art form which began over 2,500 years ago in ancient India. The teachings focus on life as it really is, meaning the true nature of reality, knowing the self. Life transformation through observation and contemplation, which entail desires, feelings, thoughts, and perhaps the soul. This technique is taught in various places beginning with a 10 day course, typically covering the fundamentals. Donations fund the centers by graduates so others may benefit from the teachings. Taoist Meditation: This is a more relaxed form of meditation, the primary focus being on physical and emotional energy work used for healing and the living of a long life. The techniques have been used and perfected for thousands of years, most involving movement of the physical body. Used are standing, walking and sleeping meditations. More advanced meditation types include spiritual journeys, which can be profound. The desired outcome is calmness, tranquility and peacefulness. Tai Chi and QiGong practices involve movement while collecting life energy between Earth and sky. Feel the universe recharge you as you thrive within harmony and well-being. You could concentrate on a walking meditation and therefore arrive receptive to the gifts that await. Your quest for an easy meditation involves a direct path of moonlight, on an enchanting full moon night. There are certain areas which offer a higher vibrational frequency, which do enhance the experience, yet are not necessary. If you live on the flat lands, and have stimulated a desire, this practice works wonders for the spirits. Reaching the summit, face toward the moon, take a few calming breaths, point in your toes, and bend your knees just slightly. With palms facing the stars, slowly close your eyes until you are looking through your lashes as you line up your nostrils with the moonlight. Slowly breathe in and accept the moon’s energy, feeling the light penetrate into the core of your being. Your are collecting the mysterious energy which is radiating from the moon inside of your body, offering vitality and healing. This easy meditation experience promises energy which will last 30 days. Should walking not be your pleasure, this would be a beautiful ceremony to practice at water’s edge, a garden, or desert. One interesting benefit I have experienced following a full moon meditation being I had harvested a very high level of energy which greatly enhanced my habitual bedtime meditation in the most profound ways. In combination with an advanced meditation audio, I began to experience higher, specific states of consciousness on that very night. Finally, after two years of nightly practice!
